The Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation awards scholarships to students that display positive character, leadership skills, academic excellence, community involvement, and future aspirations.

Each year, the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors as well as adults looking to further their education at the associates, bachelors, or masters level. These scholarship opportunities are open to all employees of Chamber Members. Scholarships are formally awarded each year at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting in late summer.

Scholarships for High School Graduates

Since 1994, college scholarships have been awarded to Kenosha County High School students that display positive character, leadership skills, academic excellence, community involvement, and future aspirations. Among other qualifications, applicants must have a connection to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce either through an employer or a parent/guardian’s employer. In 2020, the Foundation plans to award a minimum of four $2,500 scholarships.

NOTE: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on the entire business community, the Chamber felt a need to review the 2020 Foundation Scholarship process. We have made some revisions concerning the quantity of scholarships, due dates, and fund distribution dates. Please call Chamber President Lou Molitor at 262-237-2316 if you have any questions.

Scholarships for Adult Learners

Since 2017, Herzing University has generously partnered with the Kenosha Chamber of Commerce to award scholarships to prospective students chosen by the Chamber’s scholarship committee. Scholarship recipients can enroll in any of the Herzing University programs offered on campus or online including degrees at the associates, bachelors or masters level. For 2020, the Chamber and Herzing plan to award two scholarships to adult learners.

The scholarship is intended to be a “debt-free full-ride”, which means the cost of all tuition, fees, and books will be covered in full after federal, state, institutional, and other grants or scholarships are applied for and accepted by the student, when eligible.
