KAFASI Ribbon Cutting

This morning, the Chamber held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating KAFASI (Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services, Inc).

The ribbon cutting followed with a small open house until noon with light refreshments, tours of the newly renovated community-focused building, the opportunity to meet the staff and learn more about the services they offer.

Since 1969, Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services, Inc. has been providing quality services for all stage of life. Using the largest volunteer base in Kenosha, their Senior Services offers seniors many ways to address their needs and allows them to age in place. KAFASI delivers healthy, nutritious meals to their homes, offers them options for congregate dining, provides friendly visitors to chat and activities that teach them to use communications technology and address memory health. They also have opportunities for seniors to volunteer and mentor school aged children. KAFASI's Family Services works with the whole family, helping parents to reach new goals and learn effective skills to strengthen the family unit.
