Established in 1916, the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce is a member-owned business and community resource organization that continuously works to serve and strengthen the Kenosha Area. Our Members are committed to doing “Business With Integrity”, and our community can be proud that it has a coalition of businesses that support that mission through Membership in the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is responsible for such established business events and services as Business After 5, Kenosha Expo, Business To Business Expo, Regional Connections, and Local Business Guide, as well as many others.

Expo Health & Home Show
Expo is the Chamber’s premier consumer event to showcase its members. Booths range in price from $450-$1250. Over 5,000 people and 150 businesses attend this two-day business-to-consumer event. The Kenosha Expo also features the Great Kenosha Raffle, the Family Activity Area, and the Kenosha Health Fair.
Business to Business Expo
The B2B Expo is ideal for businesses that have other businesses as clients, that market and sell to businesses, and service businesses.
The Chamber Annual Meeting features an elegant lunch as well as a keynote speaker. Bylaw changes and new Board Members are voted on, college scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors, and our members are recognized with the annual Best Place to Work Award, Beautification Awards, and Ambassador of the Year Award.
All proceeds from the Scholarship Golf Classic benefit the Chamber Scholarship Foundation. The event includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, contests, awards, and a dinner reception.

Legislative Breakfasts are held over breakfast at locations across Kenosha County. Federal, state, and local politicians speak on legislation and its effect on local business, and field a variety of questions from the audience. During election season, candidate debate forums are also held.
Grill Games is a two-day event put on by the Chamber and Kenosha YMCA, designed to bring families together on Kenosha’s beautiful lakefront to enjoy good music, great food, and one another’s company. Event proceeds benefit Kenosha-area youth programs, such as the Boys & Girls Club, scholarship programs, and local child-abuse prevention programs. Grill Games features a Kansas City BBQ Society-sanctioned grilling competition, live music and carnival.

Business After Five
A monthly two-hour networking event open to the business community. The Business After Five features drinks, hors d’oeuvres, door prizes, raffles, and a casual networking atmosphere. Business After 5 events are held at Member businesses throughout the Kenosha Area. Contact the Chamber if you are interested in showcasing your business to the community!
Chamber networking groups are a free tool available to our members to help expand their personal network, gain recognition for their products or services, and build business. Being part of a dedicated networking group polishes your self presentation skills, creates awareness of you and your employer’s business, and helps you build useful contacts.
Regional Connections is a speed-networking event held each spring and fall at various locations across Kenosha County and surrounding areas. This two-hour, four-course luncheon allows you to meet many area and regional business professionals from southeastern Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois. Each participant is encouraged to hand out business cards and other materials at each course during their 1-2 minute presentation at each course.
We’re passionate about promoting your business. The Chamber prints a yearly directory of members, maintains an online directory, and publishes emails to keep your business up-to-date and well informed.
Local Business Guide
Each year the Chamber publishes the Local Business Guide, a directory of our entire membership, their advertisements, as well as community and Chamber information. Over five thousand (5,000) copies are distributed including 1,000 guides sent directly to Chamber Members and local officials.
The Chamber Planner is an email newsletter mailed out every Wednesday which chronicles all of the events happening at the Chamber— all of the events listed in this pamphlet are promoted extensively in the Chamber Planner.
We don’t just help your business grow; we help you grow as well. The Chamber works in conjunction with local groups and organizations that offer a variety of professional guidance courses to help you develop as a leader and your business thrive in the community.
Leadership Kenosha is a professional development program that recruits a diverse group of emerging leaders who are committed to serving as catalysts for positive change for the quality of life in our community. Leadership Kenosha participants focus on personal and interpersonal skills, team building, conflict management, and communication and presentation skills in order to gain practical leadership skills and effect change. This 9-month program is run through UW-Extension; Chamber members receive a $50 discount on tuition.
Business & Education Partners Program (BEPP)
The Business & Education Partners Program creates collaboration between the Kenosha Unified School District, Gateway Technical College, UW-Parkside, Carthage College and Kenosha County manufacturing businesses. The goal of the program is to allow High School Freshmen to gather experience and information to assist them in making career and education plans.
Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation
The Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) is an economic development corporation providing quality business education, technical assistance and access to capital for entrepreneurs. Established in 1987, WWBIC consults, educates and mentors owners of small and micro businesses throughout Wisconsin. Although they concentrate their efforts with women, people of color and those of lower incomes, WWBIC services are available to any business.
Y-Link aims to connect young professionals who live and work in the Kenosha Area, help them develop professionally, and motivate them to discover exciting new opportunities for community involvement. Y-Link hosts many different types of activities for their members including informational workshops, speaker engagements, social get-togethers, volunteer opportunities and many other special events. Additionally, members may become involved in Y-Link through its board of directors and committees.

Kenosha Area Chamber Of Commerce Foundation
Each year, the Chamber Foundation awards scholarships to students that display positive character, leadership skills, academic excellence, community involvement, and future aspirations. Among other qualifications, applicants must have a connection to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce either through an employer or a parent/guardian’s employer. The scholarship recipients are formally recognized at the Chamber Annual Meeting.
Spotlight on Kenosha County
Spotlight is the Chamber’s twice monthly radio program that promotes businesses in Kenosha County. The program is hosted by Bill Lawrence and Chamber Executive Lou Molitor on AM 1050 WLIP. Sponsorship is only $200 and includes 24 30-second on-air promotions during the week plus 16 minutes of live interview time.
Relocation packets include items such as our Kenosha County map, Local Business Guide, community information and pamphlets from Chamber members. They are distributed upon request to new residents, employees, and teachers.
